Our level 1 science learners chose to explore the different oceanic zones on the tower. They researched the different sea creatures that live within these zones and spent time learning about their habitats. They enjoyed being creative within their science lessons, something that we do not always associate with science!

Auction for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth

After being on show to the public for 10 weeks, the lighthouse sculptures will find their permanent homes when they go under the hammer at a grand auction finale. The Guiding Lights auction takes place on 1 October at the Rolle Marquee, University of Plymouth, when the large and roaming sculptures will be sold to the highest bidders. All profits from the sales will go directly to fund the compassionate care St Luke’s delivers in people’s own homes and at the hospice’s specialist unit at Turnchapel.
