Favourite Artist: Salvador Dali
Salvador Dalí is not only my favourite artist but reminds me of my favourite book too. He dismantles conventional reality, to reveal deeper truths like his melting clocks and contradictory dreamscapes, and to embrace contradictions. Not only does he have the technical draftsmanship to paint but his art reveals philosophical portals of chaos and curiosity. He breaks through from groupthink or herd mentality and collectivism to being a true individual, I admire his haunting dark imagery and strangeness in its quality too.
