Steve is an accomplished children’s book designer and illustrator from Plymouth.
He also has a comic strip in Devon Life Magazine as well as being a trustee for the local charity Societree, educating children in creating a greener future.
He has also recently produced the children’s book for St Lukes, ‘Lukey the Lighthouse Finds His Light’.

Favourite Artist? Quentin Blake. He’s always been an inspiration in my drawing. He showed, in his work, that you could draw something without worrying about it being accurate or precisely detailed. A few strokes of a pen could bring a character to life. It helped me keep the energy from a rough sketch in the finished art.
Favourite Artist Quote? “Sometimes people think drawing and painting is mucking about when actually it is a highly skilled activity”. The knack is making it look effortless.
