Created by Shakespeare Primary School , this star‑filled lighthouse represents guidance, hope and belonging. Inspired by the night sky, each star symbolises the many ways our children shine for others, reminding us that shared kindness and care help guide the way and ensure “All achieve greatness.”

Auction for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth

After being on show to the public for 10 weeks, the lighthouse sculptures will find their permanent homes when they go under the hammer at a grand auction finale. The Guiding Lights auction takes place on 1 October at the Rolle Marquee, University of Plymouth, when the large and roaming sculptures will be sold to the highest bidders. All profits from the sales will go directly to fund the compassionate care St Luke’s delivers in people’s own homes and at the hospice’s specialist unit at Turnchapel.
