Together Tower – the Light of Love is painted in dark green and gold, reflecting our school’s colours. Children added stars to symbolise kindness, love, and community, alongside “love” in many languages. It stands as a reminder that even in dark times, love shines brightly.
Auction for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth
After being on show to the public for 10 weeks, the lighthouse sculptures will find their permanent homes when they go under the hammer at a grand auction finale. The Guiding Lights auction takes place on 1 October at the Rolle Marquee, University of Plymouth, when the large and roaming sculptures will be sold to the highest bidders. All profits from the sales will go directly to fund the compassionate care St Luke’s delivers in people’s own homes and at the hospice’s specialist unit at Turnchapel.
