About Us
Ham Drive Nursery School and Day Care is a partner school within the IDEAL Alliance which also includes Yealmpstone Farm Primary School, Plym Bridge Nursery School and Day Care, Bright Stars, the South West Early Years Stronger Practice Hub and hosts the Plymouth City Council’s commissioned Early Years Communication and Language Advisory Team.
Ham Drive is a thriving nursery school catering for the very youngest of our city’s learners from 0 to 5 years of age. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and nurturing approach to supporting children to grow, learn and develop, through engaging, playful educational activities and experiences. We comprise three provisions:
The Nest – providing all-year-round wrap-around care for our whole school and also the base for our under twos.
Hatchlings – two to three year olds provision
Fledglings – our nursery school provision for three to four year olds
We are keen to participate in the guiding lights little lights learners programme to complement our children’s creative curriculum opportunities and to support the invaluable work that St Luke’s provides through fund raising events.
